Margaret Zhang Appointed Editor-in-Chief of Vogue China

What do you get when you mix hard work with brains, beauty and a killer crop of blue hair? You get the creative queen that is Margaret Zhang.

At the young age of 16, Zhang started her own blog ‘Shine by Three’, a project intended to showcase her photography. The website quickly became an online hit and by 2015, Elle Magazine had named her Digital Influencer of the Year.

Within a couple of years, the young creative had built a portfolio of work that included major brands such as Dior, Louis Vuitton and Swarovski. Nothing less than exceptional, Zhang also underwent a law degree at the University of Sydney, graduating in commerce/law. By 2016, she was named as one of Forbes’ Asia 30 under 30.

Now at age 27, Margaret Zhang will become the youngest to ever fill the role with Ms Anna Wintour herself announcing the news, her “exceptional multi-platform digital expertise and wide-ranging interests are the perfect combination to lead Vogue China into the future”.

We think so too.

Congratulations Margaret!
